Welcome to State College Friends School -

a unique school where your child is encouraged to think, question, grow and learn. Founded in 1980 on the Quaker principles of equality, community, simplicity, peace, stewardship and integrity, part of our uniqueness comes from celebrating diversity and welcoming families of all faiths and perspectives. With a stimulating core academic curriculum entwined with a spiritually enriching environment, our k-8th grade students are nurtured to grow intellectually, think critically, work collaboratively, and communicate confidently.
