Meet Becky Plane

Becky (she/her) joined the SCFS community in 2022. Within the first 5 minutes of her interview, Becky knew SCFS was the right place for her and her “whole child,” philosophy. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Juniata College, where she became certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. Since then, Becky has acquired over 11 years experience as a teacher, with most of that time being devoted to the Juniata College Early Childhood Education Center as their Master Teacher.  

Aside from learning and growing with children, Becky’s biggest passion lies within the natural world where she finds incredible beauty, peace, and comfort. Part of her teaching philosophy includes helping children to understand our connection to the Earth and the importance of living in harmony with all nature.
