SCFS is made richer and more vibrant through its relationships with our neighbors and with other Quaker schools and organizations. Since we moved to our current building in 1998, SCFS has enjoyed a close connection with Foxdale Village, a Quaker-directed continuing care retirement community.
Foxdale friends have joined us on campus as classroom helpers, gardeners, and Reading Buddies. Students have extended their Halloween Parade to the Foxdale grounds, performed class plays in the Foxdale Auditorium, and shared community singing with Foxdale residents. These activities offer SCFS students invaluable opportunities for intergenerational perspectives and connections.
