Our 2019 SPICES of Life Celebration event at the Graduate Hotel has ended. Please link to the FLASH FINALE page to learn more about the wrap up of this signature event.
All this work . . . so much creativity and hard work, all for my children. I feel so much love for this school.
The SPICES of Life Celebration is a relaxed early-evening event where adults can enjoy locally-sourced foods and craft beverages, live and silent auction fun, music, and lively conversation; all against the lovely backdrop of the Graduate Hotel Ballroom. (formerly The Atherton Hotel)
SPICES is an acronym we use to call to mind the Quaker testimonies of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship present throughout our school culture and curriculum.
Proceeds from this signature friend and fund raising event benefit all students of State College Friends School by making flexible tuition possible through our Scholarship Fund.
The success of this annual event is solely dependent on the deep generosity of parents, alumni, friends, and community volunteers, as well as businesses and organizations who believe in the good works of our students and teachers, and the value of a child-centered Friends (Quaker) education.
