ADVENTURE AWAITS... (15/20 available spots)
  • Each day is an adventure and while there may some questions or trepidation for the upcoming school year – we all have the tools to make each day a good day.  Join us while we celebrate the last week of summer camp with a BANG!

Summer camp programming and procedures will look very similar to last year.  While this year we are able to offer 9 weeks of camp, there will again be no field trips or pool trips due to COVID-19 mitigation strategies. All campers must wear a mask, except while eating snack and lunch.  Mask breaks will be honored in a safe place, removed from the larger camp group, when requested.  Groups will be maxed at 6 persons/4 groups per week for K-4.  Each group will have their own ‘home’ areas and consistent bathroom.  We will work for campers consistently having the same ‘home’ area for each week they are registered, as well as the same lead counselors.

Each camper will create their own art supply box, which they will use until their final registered week so they can consistently use their own supplies with minimal shared items.  Campers can take their art boxes home on their last registered week. Lunch times, which are also mask free times, will be outside as often as possible and campers will be spread out more significantly.

Each week, one day will have a walk to Tusseyview Park, typically in the afternoon, and one day will be water games.  Depending on the weather, we may have more than one water day event in a week, advance notice will be shared as well as distinct preparatory needs will be established prior to each week as we arrive closer to the start of summer camp.  We are working to be as creative as possible with our summer programming, currently we have weekly Spanish and reading programming weaved into each week.  Safety & Fun are our top priorities.

As camp director and Pandemic Coordinator, our summer camp will continue to have the support of the Pandemic Committee and Case Review Group if there concerns to review.
