Our Wee Friends Camps are geared for children 3-5 years old and meets daily from 8:30 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. Please see below for camp dates and detailed description of the weekly theme. June 18-22: BARNYARD PALOOZA ($80/week)
Chickens, pigs and sheep, oh my! What else will we find on the farm? Come experience animal crafts, silly songs, and cool stories from the barnyard.
June 25-29: NATURE EXPLORERS ($80/week)
Join us as we explore the world around us, with songs, crafts, and games from all around the world! From the smallest creature to the largest of trees, we’ll investigate what is in our own backyard as well as what is found in different parts of the world. With magnifying glass in hand, we will expand our horizons.
July 2-6: MOVIN' & GROOVIN' ($65/week; no camp Wednesday, July 4th)
Campers will sing, dance, and play-act their way through four days of fun. Create and use musical instruments and explore all the places music can be found. A camp for those who love to be on the go!
July 9-13: MINI MATISSE & LITTLE PICASSO ($80/week)
Let’s get creative! Kids will discover their inner artist through dance, song and art. At the end of the week there will be a gallery to showcase all of their beautiful artwork.
July 16-20: LET'S MAKE BELIEVE ($80/week)
The play’s the thing, so send your star! Props, costumes, stages, great stories and even bigger imaginations abound during this week of pretend play.
July 23-27: SILLY SCIENCE ($80/week)
Prepare your lab coats for exciting experiments and games that demonstrate the magic of science. Campers will be wowed by volcanoes, slime and so much more.
July 30-August 3: UNDER THE SEA ($80/week)
Does your child love the sea, the sand, and ocean creatures? If so, join us for dress-up and drama, seashells and sand, crafts, and songs about whales and jellyfish.
Sarah Swartz, Wee Friends Camp Lead
Sarah Swartz has been a kindergarten teacher for the past three years and loves helping children explore and discover the world around them. She is very excited to be leading the Wee Friends Summer Camp this year. Sarah received her B.A. in Communications at Susquehanna University in 2005 and completed their Teacher Intern Program in 2011. When she is not teaching, you will find her in the garden, working on crafts, remodeling the house, or taking walks with her husband and their Weimaraner, Baron.
