Meet Suzanne Snyder
Suzanne (she/her) lives in State College, PA with her husband, Shaye and two children, Ruben and Joseph; she is also mother to a baby angel, Rosemary. She has an A.A. in Liberal Studies: Teacher Education and an A.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her family is a military family as her husband is active duty army and she is an army veteran herself.
Suzanne and her family joined the SCFS community in 2022. She loves working at Friends School because of the inclusivity of the diverse students and faculty. She is new to the Quaker philosophy but is eager to deepen her understanding and integrate the Quaker way of life into her own. When she’s not teaching, Suzanne loves being outside, reading books, playing board games, watching old movies...anything, so long as she's with her family.
