The Auxiliary Programs Coordinator cultivates and manages a dynamic Extended Day Program during the school year, as well as the Summer Program, serving students in Pre-K through 8th Grade. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both programs and oversees facility rentals, contributing to the team’s shared responsibility for revenue generation. The Auxiliary Programs Coordinator designs, implements, and evaluates programming that reflects the core themes of the SCFS academic and social-emotional curricula. This individual embraces collegial collaboration, incorporates Quaker pedagogy, and upholds the mission of SCFS in all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities:
- planning and oversight of the Extended Day and Summer Programs designed to engage students of all ages;
- oversight of the Extended Day and Summer Program attendance and billing using the school’s chosen management software;
h- iring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and supporting the professional growth of Extended Day and Summer Program staff;
- promotion and marketing of the SCFS Extended Day and Summer Program, guided by the Director of Strategic Advancement, to secure robust registration and increased revenue;
- management of the supply-ordering, staffing costs and overall budget management in coordination with the Director of School Operations
- communication with families, club leaders, guest teachers and camp counselors;
- closing the school each evening during the school year; opening and closing the school during summer;
- promotion and oversight of building rentals to secure increased revenue;
- serve as in-house substitute teacher, as needed

Benefits
This 12-month, full-time position requires on-site coverage five days per week until at least 5:30 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend duties. It includes benefits eligibility and five built-in weeks off annually.
Annual salary range = $37,000 - $42,000 (commensurate with experience)

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience or progress toward a degree may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational, recreational, or youth development settings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with scheduling, supervising, mentoring, and delegating tasks to staff
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and willingness to learn event management and student information software
- First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
