Meet Pierre Puget

With over 28 years of distinguished leadership in education, Pierre is the accomplished Head of School at State College Friends School. His journey as a global educator has taken him across multiple continents, where he's successfully led 7 independent schools in diverse cultural contexts, including France, Chile, Mauritius, and the United States. Pierre's leadership style is defined by his commitment to open communication, collaboration, and prioritizing student well-being, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a progressive educational environment. Beyond his direct roles, he's also shared his expertise as a consultant for independent schools, advising on areas like pedagogy, brand awareness, fundraising, and strategic planning. Outside of school, Pierre enjoys renovating houses with his wife. He holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Aix-Marseille University and certifications from the French Ministry of Education.
