Meet Margaret

Margaret Liegel holds a PK–12 teaching certification from the state of Pennsylvania and has over 20 years of experience teaching Spanish across multiple grade levels. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Studies with a minor in International Relations from Boston College, as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Design from the University of San Diego. She has taught Spanish at Penn State and the Grier School, as well as for 12 years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, at both the middle and high school levels. Her connection to education is also personal—her child attended the Pre-K program at the Friends School in State College, giving her firsthand appreciation for the value of early childhood education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with her family, and exploring artistic and creative pursuits.
