Meet Jenny

Jenny  and her husband, Grant, moved to the State College last August and have been enjoying getting to know the area.

Jenny holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a licensed teacher in both California and Virginia. Jenny has taught first, second, and third grades. She has experience with ESL(English Language Learners and Special Education.  The majority of her teaching years have been in Preschool. She brings a long-standing passion for working with this age group. 

Jenny is deeply committed to creating a nurturing and engaging early learning environment. She strives to ensure that every preschooler feels seen, heard, respected, and cared for, while also supporting families in having the best possible first school experience.

When not teaching, Jenny enjoys time with her family. She has been married to her husband for 27 years. They have two grown daughters, Josie(24) and Emma (21). Josie is a graduate from Virginia Tech and Emma is currently a junior at Penn State. Grant recently retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. The family enjoys watching PSU sports. Jenny loves swimming at the local YMCA.
